Direct Machining Control was founded by Tadas Kildusis and Tadas Kazakevicius in 2014. Using their background in laser micromachining they created software, that would automate mundane machine control tasks and allow engineers to focus on the application itself. Now, with a growing team of software and service professionals, the aim is still the same – to provide flexible and easy to use control solution for laser machines.
We are working closely with the leading hardware manufacturers to make sure that software enables the users to utilize their hardware to its full potential. DMC is a control software for laser machines. It’s an all-in-one solution where the user creates or imports CAD objects, sets process parameters and clicks Run. DMC takes care of all the hardware control according to the recipe. Typical applications range from laser marking or engraving to 3D printing and 5-axis texturing of 3D freeform surfaces.
DMC has integrated machine vision and supports a wide range of sensors. That and various built-in process-specific tools allow the users to fully automate the process for industrial OEM systems or high volume research task. DMC is hardware-independent and looks the same for any combination of the hardware. The user can share recipes, settings or procedures between the machines.
You can get DMC as a standard version for simple or PRO version for more demanding applications. DMC is modular, so you can add machine vision, 5-axis and other modules to extend the capabilities. Or go the OEM route and get a custom GUI adapted to your requirements.
Since 2019 July MB Cognitio is carrying out a project “DMC Exhibitions” with the goal to increase exports and brand awareness in the USA, Germany, and China. During this project, DMC software is presented at 8 international exhibitions.
DMC is an all-in-one solution where the user can draw or import CAD files, create simple to complex automation recipes, control the hardware (scanners, stages, lasers, sensors), and use camera vision for alignment and inspection. Once you are ready, click RUN and DMC will direct the hardware according to your recipe. Typical applications include – additive manufacturing, micromachining, laser marking/ablation, PCB processing, engraving/drilling, and 5-axis texturing. The project is partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund, via an instrument of New Opportunities(Naujos Galimybės).
